The cloud-native product startup operating in the area of fraud detection and prevention is looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join their international team remotely.

Key responsibilities

The role will focus on delivering and maintaining critical features of the product and reducing technical debt. You will have a chance to take charge of designing processes and ways of working to retain a high velocity of feature development while ensuring quality. 

 Skills and capabilities 

• Solid software engineering experience
• Strong experience in programming languages such as Scala (JVM / functional/object-oriented) and Kotlin
• Knowledge of cloud technology (preferably GCP)

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experienced with Redis, PostgreSQL, Kafka or Spark (Databricks)
• Experienced with open source contributions
