About Company

One of our clients in the Fintech sector is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a rapidly growing international team, based in Amsterdam to help them build a core data platform and support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to rebuilding data platform in Google Cloud (GCP)
  • Maintain the health of data platform and pipelines 
  • Facilitate deployment of new data products

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience with building data pipelines in distributed environments (e.g. Kafka and Spark)
  • Proficiency in SQL, relational databases 
  • Experience in Python development 
  • Good knowledge in data modelling best practices of data warehousing (data vault and Kimball)
  • Experience in machine learning solutions in a cloud environment (preferably GCP)
  • Familiarity with containerization and automation solutions in cloud environments (Docker/Kubernetes)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Snowflake/BigQuery
